A blast occurred in Kannur while a group of non-state workers were sorting agricultural goods at Patiyam Moozhivyal. A native of Assam, Syed Ali, and two children were injured in the explosion, with Syed Ali suffering serious hand injuries. The explosion occurred as they were opening a water bottle. The police have arrived at the scene, and Syed Ali has been admitted to a hospital in Koothuparam for treatment.
