Kakkayangad (Kannur)> RSS leader and his wife were injured in an explosion that occurred while handling a bomb. The incident happened at 6 pm on Sunday. AK Santosh (32) of Mukolaparampath and his wife Lasitha Santosh were injured when a bomb exploded from the kitchen area of their house. Santhosh, who suffered serious injuries on his face and hand, was taken to Thalassery for specialist treatment after initial treatment at Iritti Hospital. At the time of the explosion, Santosh’s mother and children were in another room of the house, so a major accident was avoided. A similar incident has happened before.
