Dubai – The Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts, Air Transport and Social Economy and General Commissioner of the Moroccan Pavilion at the Universal Exhibition Dubai 2020, Ms. Nadia Fettah Alaoui, held talks on Tuesday in Dubai with the Commissioner General of this event and Emirati Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Sheikh Nahayan bin Mabarak Al Nahayan.

During their meeting, the two parties praised the excellent relations between Morocco and the United Arab Emirates, welcoming the level of cooperation achieved by the two brotherly countries in several areas.

This interview was an opportunity to discuss the challenges of the Universal Exhibition Dubai 2020 and to discuss the prospects for a very active participation of Morocco throughout this event.

In this context, Ms. Fettah Alaoui expressed Morocco’s willingness to work with those responsible for Expo 2020 Dubai to promote the values ​​of moderation, tolerance and openness in the animation programs of this exhibition.

For his part, Sheikh Nahayan bin Mabarak Al Nahayan congratulated Morocco for the architecture of the Moroccan pavilion, which he described as one of the most beautiful pavilions on the Expo site.

This interview, held on the sidelines of the Moroccan delegation’s participation in the last international meeting of participants in the Universal Exhibition Dubai 2020, took place in the presence of the ambassador and director general of the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI), Mohamed Methqal.
