Expo visitors exceed 56.6 lakh

Dubai എക് Expo 2020, the largest fair the world has seen since the launch of Kovid, has so far been visited by 56.6 lakh people, officials said. Two and a half crore people watched the expo online (Live Expo). From October 1 to December 5, 5,66,39,60 people visited.

Six out of ten visitors bought seasonal passes, realizing that they would not see the entire expo in one day. In the first two months, 12 lakh people (57%) visited the expo again. 5383 people, including heads of state, made official visits. During the first two months, 10461 events were held at the Expo.

About 28% of visitors in November are from India, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia and the UK. The expo was attended by 22 lakh people through the Dubai Metro. 4,55,000 people arrived in taxis. Expo Rider buses have also made over six lakh free trips so far. Two and a half lakh school children also visited the expo.

10,000 school trips were made here. Reem Al Hashimi, UAE Minister of International Cooperation and Director General of the Expo, said:

Passes of 95 dirhams were issued for viewing the entire expo in December. Grammy Award winner Alicia Key’s concert will be held on the 10th and AR Rahman’s concert will be held on the 22nd. Lee Salongha will perform at Al Wasl on the night of the 25th.
