He highlighted the importance of guaranteeing political peace as a key factor for armed peace in Colombia, emphasizing the construction of a democratic proposal for the well-being of the Venezuelan people.

He also commented that an energy agreement was consolidated that consists of the possibility that “Ecopetrol can exploit gas on the border near Colombia, on the Colombian-Venezuelan border, and oil in high quality conditions, closer to that of North Santander. And that we can export electrical energy, hopefully clean, through La Guajira and through the Táchira.
