Among the 262 aspirants registered for ministers of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN)the names of the former president of the Senate and PAN stand out Roberto Gil Zuarth and the former federal representative of the PRI, Eduardo Andrade Sánchez.
In the case of candidates for Judicial Disciplinary Court, the CEPL gave its endorsement to 205 registrations. For magistrates of regional chambers of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch of the Federation (TEPJF)311 records met the requirements to proceed to the eligibility evaluation.

He said that one of the requirements is to be a Mexican citizen by birth, “and in the case of this person it turns out that he has Guatemalan nationality by birth and Mexican nationality by naturalization.”
Given this, he asked for an explanation from the Legislative and Executive Committees “Why did they consider him eligible when he does not meet the constitutional requirement of having Mexican citizenship by birth?
