Title: IDF Carries Out Extensive Attacks on Hamas Targets in Gaza Strip

The 18th day of the war between Israel and Hamas saw the Israeli Air Force conducting extensive attacks in the Gaza Strip. Unusual photos emerged showing “Belt of Fire” attacks in the center of Gaza City. The attacks resulted in significant damage to an extensive network of tunnels and the command and control center of Hamas in the Strip. The Taj 3 building also suffered severe destruction.

Palestinian reports indicated that Wa’al Dahdoh, director of Al-Jazeera’s offices, had his home attacked in the Nizirat refugee camp. Tragically, several members of his family, including his wife and children, were killed in the attack. Another attack targeted the al-Kahlot family home in the Jabaliya refugee camp, following the identification of Hamas spokesman Abu Obeidah, Khadifah Kahlot.

The IDF, along with the Shin Bet, targeted hundreds of Hamas military targets during the extensive attacks. These targets included terrorists, terrorist infrastructure, tunnel shafts, military headquarters, munitions warehouses, and mortar bomb and anti-tank missile launching positions.

In addition to attacking military bases and infrastructure, the IDF also targeted the Hamas emergency apparatus, responsible for imposing blockades that hinder the evacuation efforts of Gaza residents. Military compounds and headquarters of the Hamas security apparatus, which governs the terrorist organization, were destroyed. The IDF also conducted widespread arrests and imprisonment of Hamas opponents.

Israel has been urging residents of Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip to evacuate to the south through various means such as leaflets, phone calls, and social media posts. Approximately 750,000 Gazans have already evacuated to UNRA shelters, with an emphasis on humanitarian aid.

Around 300,000 Palestinians still remain in the north, and Israel continues to urge them to move south. Contrary to the claims in Gaza, Israel maintains that there is sufficient stock of supplies in the Strip that will last for several weeks, including medical supplies that will last at least a week.

Yesterday, the IDF dropped leaflets in the Gaza Strip appealing to residents to provide relevant information about abductees in the area. The IDF promised to ensure the safety of those who cooperate and maintain their confidentiality, while also offering a financial reward.

Brigadier General Daniel Hagari, the IDF spokesman, commented on the day’s attacks and emphasized their continuous efforts to eliminate senior officials of Hamas. Hagari stated that each attack strengthens their position for the next stages of the war and that targeting senior officials remains a top priority.

As the conflict persists, both sides continue to suffer significant losses and devastation. The international community has called for an immediate ceasefire to prevent further civilian casualties and to pursue a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflict.
