Just a few days after the start of the new school year, students will enjoy an extra day of rest dedicated to sports activities.

According to an announcement from the Ministry of Education, on Friday, September 27, there will be no classes in schools due to the Nationwide School Sports Day, but sports activities and events will take place.
As stipulated in the relevant circular, there will be no classes that day. However, students will be introduced to sports as part of the 11th Nationwide School Sports Day.

We Enhance Quality of Life”, the Physical Education Directorate of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports invites all primary and secondary schools to implement sports actions/activities and/or events, which can take place inside or/and outside the school grounds, throughout the school hours, in order to highlight the benefits and importance of physical activity, exercise, and sports for health and improving quality of life.
