Conmebol will have six representatives in said contest. On the one hand there will be the champions of the Libertadores 2021 (Palmeiras), 2022 (Flamengo), 2023 (Boca or Fluminense) and 2024. The other two places will come from a ranking that will take into account the performance of the teams in continental tournaments during the last four seasons and that have not emerged champions in said editions.

The others already classified for MdC 2025 are the champions of the different confederations of recent years. Namely: Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester City in Europe; Al Hilal and Urawa Red Diamonds for Asia, Al-Ahly and Wydad Casablanca for Africa, Monterrey, Seattle Sounders and León for Concacaf.
