The National Opera Theater of Latvia in Riga hosted a great success of the performance of the masterpiece of world art – the opera “tosca” by Giacomo Puccini,presented with the support of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Latvia in honor of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries.
As Day.Az reports, this was reported to Trend by the chief conductor of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, associate professor of the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, honored artist, conductor Eyyub Guliyev.
In the performance, presented under the baton of an Azerbaijani conductor, the leading parts where performed by soloists of the National Opera of Latvia - Tatyana Trenogina (soprano), Janis Apeinis (scarpia), Andris Ludvigs (Cavaradossi), Viesturs Vitols (Angelotti) and other famous opera singers of Latvia.
“The performance became a landmark and unforgettable event, as famous musicians took part in it, and was a great success. I would especially note that all tickets were sold out a few days before the performance.Music has no boundaries, it is a language that unites people, regardless from thier nationality, age, gender and social status.
