Ahead of Ezra Sheinberg’s release from prison, women who were hurt by his actions plan to demonstrate on Saturday night at 9:00 PM in front of the Maasiah prison.

This coming Sunday, Ezra Shainberg, who was convicted of sexual offenses against eight women, is expected to be released from prison at the end of a seven and a half year prison term.

Sheinberg, nicknamed “the rabbi from the north” and was the head of the Ari community in Safed, now plans to live with his family in the city of Katzrin in the Golan Heights.

As part of the growing protest against Sheinberg’s move to Katsrin – Michal HaCohen, one of the women who Sheinberg hit about a decade ago, will stand tomorrow (Matchesh) at 21:00 in front of the Maasiyahu Prison. HaCohen will stand together with other women who joined her in the public struggle.

In addition, on Sunday at 20:00 there will be a large demonstration in the city of Katzrin led by the Action Committee for Katzrin in front of the house of Sheinberg who is now expected to join the community in the city.

Michal wrote in a post she published on social networks: “I will come to tell him that he has nothing to look for outside the walls of his house. The public is not ready to accept him.”

On the Facebook page “Ezra Sheinberg’s victims” it is written: “This coming Saturday night at 9:00 p.m. we will all stand in front of Maashiyahu Prison and deliver a clear message to Ezra Sheinberg!! Although the prison is over and you will be released tomorrow, but you have no place among us!!! You will not be able to establish a new community nor You can hurt more women!”
