Francesco Facchinetti stopped at the airport of Managua (capital of Nicaragua) because mistaken for a drug trafficker from Bergamo: it happened in 2006 at the time of the management of the Isola dei Famosi next to Simona Ventura, broadcast on Rai Due. Facchinetti then tried to explain that he was, in addition to a presenter, also a singer and said he had also recorded a song with Pavarotti. At that point, after watching the video of their song on Youtube, the agents were convinced and released it: “Thank you maestro, you saved me,” added Facchinetti, concluding the story.
