The operation is very simple and really in step with the times. First of all, at the beginning of the season a rich program of excursions is organized, which tries to respond more and more to the different needs expressed by the participants. Old friends have no problem keeping in touch and starting the word of mouth. However, those who want to try to go on an outing together with this group, have no difficulty. There is the Facebook page (Prg Amici) and the Instagram page (prg_amici) to get in touch. When you communicate your participation in the excursion, the organizers send all the necessary information via Whatsapp. The meeting point is optional: you can meet directly on site.
“Thanks to this system,” says Giorgio Bianchi, “someone contacts me the same morning saying they have freed themselves from commitments and have decided to join. Since there are no bus transfers or membership fees, there is maximum freedom and we try to maintain maximum flexibility.” The information, however, is precious because it contains all the tips needed to best tackle the walk. These are technical sheets, so as not to leave anything to chance and to ensure that participants are aware of the level of difficulty and so that they can, where necessary, show up with the most appropriate clothing and equipment. An autonomous group, in short, but not of inexperienced people. “I do it willingly,” says Bianchi, “even if it requires time and commitment. If the excursion turns into an ordeal for someone, due to superficiality or because something was not planned properly, it is no longer an occasion for joy.”
