Fujifilm XApp to Drop Facebook Login Next Year

If you’re a Fujifilm XApp user who logs in with Facebook, it’s time to plan a switch. The company announced today that Facebook login for network services within the XApp will be discontinued at the end of February 2026. This means users will need to connect their accounts using a different method to continue accessing those features. The primary goal is to ensure continued access to network services for all Fujifilm customers.
How to Make the Switch
Fujifilm is encouraging customers currently using Facebook login to transition to either a Google Account or an Apple ID as soon as possible. The process is fairly straightforward, but requires a few steps within the XApp settings. The company acknowledges this change may cause some inconvenience and appreciates your understanding.
- Make sure to get either a “Google Account” or “Apple ID” beforehand.
- Select [Change the FUJIFILM XApp Network Service account] through the following menu flow: [Settings]➔[Application Settings]➔[Network Services]➔[Change the FUJIFILM XApp Network Service account]
- Once the “Sign-out from the FUJIFILM XApp Network Service account” message appears, select [Continue].
- After a while, the sign-in screen for your new account will appear. Select the service and sign in with your new (non-Facebook) account.
Fujifilm notes that the end date for Facebook login may be subject to change, so staying informed is key. While the current plan is to discontinue support at the end of February 2026, the company will provide updates if any adjustments are made to the timeline.
