Facebook has already begun testing a new virtual reality application for remote work, which allows users to attend meetings using a special headset in the form of their avatars. In September, Facebook already pledged $ 50 million to build the metaverse, which is already being developed by companies such as the online multiplayer platform Roblox and the creator of the computer game “Fortnite” Epic Games.
Ex-employee’s accusations against Facebook
Facebook announced job creation in Europe at a time when the concern is in a difficult position. Former employee of the concern, Frances Haugen, on October 5, accused his management of being aware of the psychological problems that arise in adolescents who actively use social networks, especially Instagram.
