Faced with fuel shortages, a France cut in two

by time news

This Tuesday, October 11, rebelote. The strike movements which block the Normandy refinery, near Le Havre (Seine-Maritime), the Flanders fuel depot, in Dunkirk (North), as well as the “biorefinery” of La Mède (Bouches-du-Rhône), have not only been renewed, but around fifteen service stations in the Argedis network, a subsidiary of TotalEnergies, are now also affected. Result: one station in three in the country is now in a situation of shortage of at least one fuel. And even one in two in certain regions, such as Île-de-France or Hauts-de-France. But beyond these statistics, which change from hour to hour, this shortage sadly highlights a two-speed mobility in France.
