It is an application which should simplify the lives of motorists in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne), which is currently experiencing numerous work zones, particularly linked to the construction of the third metro line. Redevelopment of the main rue Saint-Michel, urban renewal of the Bellefontaine district or digging of the 22 underground stations of line C of the metro linking Colomiers to Labège, the multiplication of construction sites makes traffic difficult in the Pink City.

Available for download on platforms for Android and Ios, the “Parlons Travaux” application, as well as a website, allows you to stay informed in real time of major works in the Toulouse area. The user can also ask questions and report any malfunction on public roads.

Ability to report malfunctions

Result of joint work between Tisséo Collectivités and Toulouse Métropole to inform local residents and users of work zones such as changes to the extent of construction sites and associated disruptions, and thus anticipate their movements. “By subscribing to the proposed site information sheets, the user obtains all the latest news on this work and its impacts, in terms of traffic, parking, working hours, relocation of open-air markets,” explains Tisséo. This application also allows you to report any malfunctions and to ask questions about these sites for which answers will be provided.”

Until 2028, Toulouse residents will have to live with the deviations linked to these projects. The entry into service of metro line C is scheduled for the end of 2028.
