More than three years have passed since the worst of the coronavirus pandemic, and many people around the world continue to suffer from symptoms of the Covid-19 disease, some really unusual.

This is the case of Stanley Chow, a 48-year-old British illustrator, who suffers prosopagnosiaor facial blindness: it is the inability to recognize the faces of the people we meet.

As collected by the MirrorChow contracted coronavirus in early 2021 and made a quick recovery, but was left with many symptoms that continue to affect your daily life.

“If I meet someone new, I make sure to follow them on Instagram or Facebook so that his face remains engraved in my memory somehow,” adds this man, who lives in Manchester.

The same symptom is manifested by a 28-year-old American girl named Annie. The girl was infected with Covid in March 2020 and suffered a relapse of symptoms two months later.

“It was as if my father’s voice came out of a stranger’s face,” said Annie, revealing that she has been relying on speech recognition to get by on a day-to-day basis.

Despite it being a rare case and Annie underwent further tests to make sure she had not suffered a strokeis not the only person who reports this strange symptom.
