Fahad Fazil says that acting in Pan Indian films will not change his career. Fahadh said this in an interview with Film Companion regarding the promotion of his new film, Guthush. The actor said this while replying to a question whether your limit has expanded outside Kerala after the film Pushpa.
Fahad replied that the film Pushpa has not made any difference in his career and he also told this to the director Sukumar. The actor said that he has no need to hide it and that he is getting the films he wants in the Malayalam industry. The actor said that one does not need to watch Pushpa for magic and Sukumar is a film out of love for the director.
“The film Pushpa did not make any difference in my career. I also told this to director Sukumar. I don’t need to hide this from anyone or anywhere. I get the movies I want from here. Many people see the movie Pushpa as magic. Actually there is no need for it.
The film happened when both of us collaborated out of our love for director Sukumar. Nothing beyond that. I don’t think my boundaries expanded because of that movie. My place is here. I don’t think he is a pan-Indian star. There are better actors than me.
I consider Vicky Kaushal to be the best actress of the last decade. I believe Rajkumar Rao is the best actor Indian cinema has ever produced. Similarly, I think Ranbir Kapoor is the best actor in Indian cinema,’ said Fahadh.
