According to what has become known, the presenter was informed by phone of her mother about the tragic event, and hastily left Athens for her hometown, Kilkis, in order to stand by her side.

On Monday, 29/01, the show “Fay’s Time” went off the air without the presenter, with her colleagues talking about the loss she is experiencing, and expressing their condolences. Many presenters from the entertainment field also publicly expressed their support for Fai Scordas.
Fai Skordas: Sadness in the local community for the death of her father who was a well-known radiologist
According to voria.gr, the funeral of the presenter’s father will be held today, Tuesday 30/01, in Stavrochori, Kilkis, while the sudden death of Dimitris Skordas has plunged the local community, where he was particularly loved, into grief.
The same source states that Dimitris Skordas was rushed to the hospital of Kilkis, after the cardiac arrest he suffered, however the doctors were unable to revive him.

Dimitris Skordas and his wife, Eva, have two children, the well-known presenter, and her brother, Noti, who has followed in his father’s “footsteps” and is a doctor-radiologist.
Fai Scordas: The tender posts with her father
The presenter had a tender relationship with her father, as evidenced by relevant snapshots she has shared over the years with her online friends.
In 2016, Fai Scordas had “uploaded” a photo of them together on Instagram on the occasion of Father’s Day, with the caption saying “I love you very much. Happy birthday, my dad.”

In 2019, she had published a photo of her father holding her son and his namesake, Dimitris, on the day of their name day. “Let’s rejoice in our sweet Dimitris”, Fai Skorda wrote in the caption of her tender publication.
