(ANSA) – BOLOGNA, SEPTEMBER 25 – Fondazione Soleterre arrives in Bologna on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 September with its Buone Stelle, fair trade cocoa biscuits that will be sold by volunteers in over 50 squares throughout the country.
The funds raised will allow Soleterre to continue its work in defense of the right of boys and girls with cancer to receive free reception and psychological support during the treatment period, which is often long and very tiring. Donations will also allow us to help families with psychological assistance and economic support in all phases of the disease.
“Every sick child – comments Damiano Rizzi, president of Fondazione Soleterre – must have the right to grow up, facing cancer. We have always been convinced of this and for years we have been committed to combating all those inequalities that still exclude many people from access to healthcare systems for economic, social and gender reasons, offering free psychological support to children with cancer and their families, necessary to deal with the emotional upheaval that the disease entails.
The Foundation’s website lists the places where you can buy Fair Trade biscuits. (ANSA).
