The Pskov Ice Palace, which was previously associated with the city residents not only with the ice rink, figure skaters and hockey players, but also with the exhibition and fair space, will no longer accept traders. The head of the Pskov Region Boxing Federation, WBO European Champion, WBF World Champion, Russian Master of Sports, Director of the Pskov Ice Palace Artur Akavov announced this live on the Ekho Moskvy radio station in Pskov.

On this topic:

He noted that, in his opinion, there could be a place only for a fair of sports equipment on the site of the Ice Palace.

“Now there is an idea to do photo exhibitions. But such that it is more like art. No fairs! No fur coats, nothing like that. This question was closed before me. And I support such a decision, “- said the guest of the studio. Artur Akavov added that the use of the Ice Palace area by trade employees was very profitable.

“But we are a sports ground and we must reckon with this. As for the concerts, I haven’t thought about them personally. Now is a difficult period, a pandemic. And so far, mass events hardly seem possible, ”summed up Artur Akavov.
