jpnn.comBATANG – The echo of the 2024 Batang Pilkada is increasingly being felt, as indicated by the dynamic competition between the two candidates.
To understand this condition more comprehensively, the Timur Barat Research Center (TBRC), a non-profit public opinion and policy research institution, conducted independent research.
“The survey was conducted in the period 6-16 September 2024 in 15 sub-districts in Batang Regency,” said TBRC Executive Director Johanes Romeo in his statement, Saturday (21/9).
This research, said Johanes, is interesting to conduct in order to understand voter preferences that change over time.
In addition, it provides a clear picture of the opportunities for district head candidates to win the regional elections based on the level of support received.
The population of this survey is all residents of Batang Regency who have the right to vote in the 2024 Pilkada, namely those who are 17 years of age or older or are married when the survey is conducted.
The data collection method was carried out through face-to-face interviews with 1200 selected respondents using a multistage random sampling method.
As for the level of error or Margin of Error (MoE) -/+ 2.83 percent, and a confidence level of 95 percent.
