Dortmund supporters are not happy and they are making it known. They are protesting against the new formula of the Champions League which will be applied from next season with 36 participants (compared to 32 currently), a formula which will involve playing a total of 189 matches against one hundred and twenty-five currently. To show its anger, the kop threw fake gold bars and fake bags of banknotes at the start of the second half. To clean the pitch, the match had to be interrupted for a few minutes.
