Lottery apps are in vogue these days in the country. However, most lottery apps are fake. One such case has been seen in Kerala. Regarding which Kerala Police has sent a notice to Google and Meta. In this case, Google has been directed to remove 60 fake lottery apps from Google Play Store. Apart from Kerala, complaints of fake apps are being received from all over the country. How cheating is being carried out
According to news agency PTI, mobile users are being sent messages of online lottery from social media platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram. In this, users are being lured to win Rs 12 crore by spending Rs 40. For this, you have to buy a lottery ticket by paying Rs 40 on the given number. As soon as you send the money, a lottery ticket comes on your number. However, it is completely fake. After this, you will get a message of winning the lottery on that lottery ticket. Similarly, the victim told that he got a message of winning a lottery of Rs 5 lakh. After this, a call comes from a government officer, saying that he has won a lottery of Rs 5 lakh. In such a situation, GST liability arises on him. A huge amount was looted from the victim in the name of GST and stamp duty.

What to do to protect yourself
If you receive any such message and you become a victim of fraud, you should immediately complain by calling 1930. If it is better, then such messages and calls should be ignored.

Google is removing these apps
