Falcon 9 launched into orbit with a new group of Starlink internet satellites

The heavy Falcon 9 launch vehicle launched into orbit with another batch of 53 mini-satellites. They are necessary to replenish the orbital constellation of the global network of Internet coverage of the Starlink system. The launch was announced by the developer company SpaceX.

Since May 2019, as part of the Starlink project, this is already the 52nd launch of Internet satellites into orbit. Each of them weighing 290 kg will be part of the SpaceX orbital constellation.

In total, SpaceX has launched 2,858 Starlink internet satellites. At the same time, a part – more than 300 – failed or went out of orbit. 2.5 thousand devices have been successfully used in orbit.
