jpnn.comTANGERANG CITY – A member of the Benteng Mania (Betmen) supporter group deliberately prohibited Tangerang Mayoral candidate Faldo Maldini from sitting in the spectator stands ahead of the Persikota Tangerang VS PSMS Medan match, Sunday afternoon (14/9).
The Betmen who are suspected of being supporters of the Sachrudin – Maryono candidate pair prohibited Faldo Maldini from entering the spectator stands. In fact, Faldo had bought a regular match ticket.
“I’m sorry, it’s not that you’re not allowed to enter. Please enter but not in this stand. Because I’m guarding it too, that’s why it’s actually good or bad,” said a Betman Persikota official, Saturday (12/9).
The supporter stated that the rejection was on the orders of the Head of the Persikota Team.
“Tell the Chairman of Betman Persikota to come and ask for an explanation regarding the refusal to watch in the stands,” said Faldo.
Faldo also responded casually to the rejection. In fact, he enjoyed watching the Persikota vs PSMS Medan match via live streaming and mingling with traders around the stadium.
“Just relax bro, it’s safe bro. We’ll just go over there. We’ll just watch the live streaming while mingling with the traders,” he said.
Faldo said rejection is common in democracy. He just confirmed himself as a spectator who loves Indonesian football.
“For me, in a democracy, expressions of liking, disliking, accepting, rejecting are normal. As a football lover, I really appreciate that,” he said. (man/jpnn)
