The Fallout 4 update for next-generation consoles that was going to be released this year is delayed to 2024
A few months ago, and coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the saga, Bethesda announced that this year we would have an update for next-generation consoles of Fallout 4. This update, which would arrive on Xbox Series, PC and PS5 via patch, needs a little more work as confirmed by the official Fallout account on X:
Thank you for your patience with us as we work on the Fallout 4 next-gen update. We know you’re excited, and so are we! But we need a bit more time and look forward to an exciting return to the Commonwealth in 2024.

This long-awaited update would incorporate a multitude of improvements to the title launched in 2015. For example, it would add a performance modewhere you can play with a higher frame rate per second, thus improving the fluidity of the title, or the possibility of play in 4K resolution, improving image quality. In addition, various problems and bugs will be solved. We remember that Fallout 4 was released in 2015 and is available on Xbox Game Pass and will soon release the series on Amazon Prime.
