Families of Abductees Mark 100 Days Since Gaza Border Incident

The families of the abductees gathered near Kibbutz Nir Oz to mark 100 days since their loved ones were abducted on the Gaza border. Despite the cold weather, their hearts were filled with warmth and longing as they stood in the “White House” and called out to their sons and daughters across the border with powerful loudspeakers.

“We are turning the world upside down to bring you back,” they shouted. “Be strong, it will soon be over.”

As part of the event, the families made a statement to the media, promising to continue their struggle and demanding the immediate return of their loved ones. They stressed that every day that passes puts the lives of the abductees at risk, and time is running out.

“Hold on! We will not stop until you return home. The entire nation of Israel is behind you,” they chanted.

One of the families in attendance was Shai and Nakra, whose son Omar is in Gaza. His father shouted through the loudspeaker, “Omar, we are working to free you and all of you.”

The families also highlighted the medical needs of their loved ones in Gaza, expressing concern that their urgent needs were being neglected.

“The residents are given all the humanitarian aid they need. Our children are neglected. Omar is sick with a chronic disease. The medicine does not reach him,” Shai and Nakra stated.

The “White House” near Kibbutz Nirim and Nir Oz has served as a hub for events emphasizing peace and good neighborly relations between the Gaza Strip and Israel. The gathering of the families of abductees highlighted the ongoing humanitarian and emotional crisis resulting from the situation at the Gaza border.

As the families continue to fight for the return of their loved ones, the message is clear: they will not rest until they are reunited with the abductees.
