Families of hostages held by the Palestinian Islamist movement “Hamas” since October 7 have protested in The Hague. There, they appealed to the International Criminal Court (ICC) to ensure justice for their loved ones and help bring them home, Reuters reported.

“Today is Valentine’s Day and Ohad, the love of my life, is still being held hostage,” said previously freed Israeli hostage Raz Ben Ami, whose husband Ohad remains in captivity in the Gaza Strip, after arriving in The Hague. “My love, I hope you can hear me, I’m still waiting for you,” she said outside the ICC headquarters.

Standing in the rain, families of the remaining hostages and demonstrators waved Israeli flags and chanted “Bring them home now!”

International Criminal Court Prosecutor Karim Khan confirmed to Reuters this week that the ICC has jurisdiction over the events of October 7 and they are part of the court’s investigation, BTA reports.

Survivors of the October 7 attack and families of the victims want the ICC to issue arrest warrants for the leaders of the Hamas movement.
