/ A locally known American DJ in Memphis (the largest city in the US state of Tennessee) died in a horrific way by having his head severed from his body.
Rick Buchanan, known as “Slick Rick” (coincidentally, he shares the same surname as a famous rapper), was found dead in the Berkley neighborhood on Wednesday by his brother, who said he entered his brother’s home and discovered he had been decapitated, FOX13 reported.
The victim’s brother, John, shared details of the horrific incident, saying: “I went in and found him, and I called 911… I thought his coat was over his head like it was cold or something, I ran outside and then I came back inside, and then I realized it was worse.”
The brother said he still had his keys in his hand and also noticed that his back door was partially open, but the Memphis Police Department said the cause of Rick Buchanan’s death has not yet been determined and that the investigation is ongoing.
The news made headlines and it turned out that Buchanan is not related to the famous rapper Slick Rick, whose real name is Richard Martin Lloyd Walters.
