jpnn.com – Several PSBS Biak players had to celebrate Christmas in Bali and away from their families.

Three players, namely Febrianto Uopmabin, Armando Oropa and Marckho Merauje, had to celebrate the Christian holiday on the Island of the Gods.

The players of the team nicknamed Pacific Storm are currently still on holiday after preparing for the next League 1 match.

It is scheduled that the champions of League 2 for the 2023/24 season will face Dewa United at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Bali, Saturday (28/12).

“I feel sad being away from my family and not celebrating Christmas together this year. We can’t do anything because of the busy match schedule,” said Febrianto.

PSBS management itself gave players and officials two training days off.

The players are scheduled to return to training on Thursday (26/12/2024) in preparation for facing Dewa United.

Currently PSBS Biak is in 12th place with a collection of 22 points from seven wins, one draw and eight defeats.
