Farewell milk tea from restaurants

by time news

The All Ceylon Restaurant Owners’ Association has decided to suspend the supply of milk tea to customers from restaurants.

Commenting on this, the president of the association Asela Sampath said that the decision was taken because the increase in the price of Palma could not further increase the price of milk tea.

He added that the price of a pack of milk powder has been increased by 60 rupees and the milk powder companies have been able to increase the price of a kilo of milk flour to 1345 rupees.

He added that the government was waiting for the milk companies to allow them to do what they wanted.

Asela Sampath said about 3,000 restaurants have been closed due to the economic situation in the country.
