by time news
The Board of Directors of ESHEA bids farewell to our colleague Panagiota (Tina) Alexandri, who passed away yesterday after a long and unequal battle at the young age of just 38.

Panagiota Alexandri was born in Athens in 1986. She graduated from the Social Work department of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, then studied journalism at a private school and the University of Edinburgh, completing her studies with a master’s degree from Panteion University, specializing in social policy.

She began her journalistic career at the TV station “Mega Channel”, where in recent years she worked as an assistant editor for news bulletins and informational shows.

Panagiota Alexandri was a kind, dedicated, and hardworking colleague, with a high sense of responsibility. She served the journalistic profession with exemplary adherence to ethical guidelines, and was distinguished for her integrity, humility, and solidarity with her colleagues. She was particularly beloved by her peers and always willing to support them both professionally and personally.

The Board of Directors of ESHEA expresses its sincere condolences to her family and bids farewell to the colleague who “left” us too soon, while she still had much to offer.

The funeral service for Panagiota Alexandri will be held tomorrow, Thursday, August 1, at 10:30 a.m., at the Church of Saint Kosmas Aitolos in Nea Filadelfeia.
