The last farewell to actor Giannis Mortzos was said on Saturday morning by relatives, colleagues, and friends at the First Cemetery.
Devastated, his wife Youli Zikou could not hold back her tears throughout the funeral.
Among those who attended the funeral were Giorgos Armenis, Anna Fonsou, Dionysis Tsaknis, and Spyros Bibilas.
The actor passed away at the age of 83, after a serious health issue he was facing.
It is reminded that the unfortunate news was made known on social media by “The Actor’s House” yesterday, stating: “This morning at 11:30, we unfortunately lost our beloved actor Giannis Mortzos… This news has filled us all with great sadness. Have a good journey, Giannis…”.
At the beginning of the summer, the actor was hospitalized at “Sotiria” hospital with a severe respiratory problem, and at the beginning of September, he was transferred to Asclepius Hospital in Vula with an additional heart problem.
