Farewell to Roberto Nobile, the actor of ‘Police District’ and ‘Montalbano’

Inspector Montalbano’s ‘team’ loses another face known to the television audience. In fact, Roberto Nobile died in Rome at the age of 74who in the series based on the novels of Andrea Camilleri played the role of Nicolò Zito, the journalist of the local television of the imaginary Vigata, friend and precious collaborator of the commissioner played by Luca Zingaretti.

Born in Verona on 11 November 1947, but of Ragusan origins, Nobile also worked for the big screen directed by directors of the caliber of Gianni Amelio, Giuseppe Tornatore, Michele Placido. On television, in addition to the ‘Inspector Montalbano‘, Nobile was a well-known face in’ La Piovra7 ‘and’ La Piovra 8 ‘, ‘Police District’ while his last appearance dates back to 2020 when he worked in the ‘Devil’s Watches’ series. At the theater, he has been on stage with Silvio Orlando in the theatrical version of ‘La scuola’ and most recently in the comedy ‘Si nota all’brunire’.
