Eight districts of the country including Feni, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong are affected by severe floods. Producer Mustafa Saryar Faruqi called on the countrymen to stand by the flood victims in this disaster by posting on Facebook.
He wrote on Facebook, ‘I think we are at war. So what would you do? We all jumped together. Then let’s still do it.’
He also wrote, ‘Navy-Army-Air Force brothers and sisters, let’s step up. Rescue boat-cargo aircraft speed up the rescue with whatever they have. What I learned from talking is that people need a rescue boat right now. Many districts including Feni are sinking in a short time due to the opening of sluice gates from the Indian side without any notice. Rescuing millions of people is a Herculean task. But let’s do it. Near and far from the disaster area, where there are speedboats and engine boats, jump and go.’
Finally, the creator wrote, ‘Danger will only unite us. No one can break us.’
