Despite having starred in Charlie’s Angels for only one season thanks to her charisma Farrah Fawcett managed to bewitch the television audience in the 1970s, which crowned her a pop icon (and sex symbol) right from the first episodes of the series. The actress, born on February 2, 1947 in Corpus Christi, Texas, kicked off her career in show business almost by accident: in the second half of the 1960s – in her first year of college – she was nominated among the ten most beautiful students on campus. Photos of her were sent to various Hollywood agencies and her agent David Mirisch called her, urging her to move to Los Angeles, but she initially preferred to continue her education.
