The Puerto Rican singer and composer Farruko recently participated in an interview with El Chombo, the well-known Panamanian DJ, composer, broadcaster, businessman and producer who currently spreads his musical knowledge on social networks.
El Chombo, whose YouTube channel is one of the most visited in Latin America, published an interview with Farruko on Monday, October 9, and for 55 minutes, they talked about the music, career, and curiosities of the Puerto Rican artist.
Carlos Efrén Reyes Rosado, known in the music scene as Farruko, shared details of what his life has been like in the music industry, his beginnings, who supported him and what his vision is today.
Among other topics addressed, El Chombo asked Farruko if he likes the work of other artists who are far from the urban and Puerto Rican genre. He revealed that he admires several and one of them is the Guatemalan Ricardo Arjona.
“They are artists that I consider very revolutionary, who run based on a philosophy of life… Although they are within the art of making music and being creative and everything, there is a movement behind it, they are guys who like to mark their identity, leave their mark,” said Farruko when referring to Ricardo Arjona, Bob Marley and Juan Luis Guerra.

“What you say about Ricardo Arjona, I think coincides with Don Omar, who also said it,” commented El Chombo when remembering the interview in October 2022 with William Omar Landrón Rivera, who confessed at the time that he longs to make music with the Guatemalan artist. .
“I have a dream in my life and it is to sing together with Ricardo Arjona. The day that happens in my life I am going to walk with the smile of the happiest child in the world for the simple fact that I consider him a super composer, a super arranger, a super singer. For me it is another level,” said Don Omar in October 2022.
Farruko took advantage of the conversation with El Chombo and said that in the urban genre he admires Don Omar, whom he considers “dad.”
