LEMAIRE, a brand developed by Samsung C&T Fashion Group, announced on the 11th that it will be operating a book reading room (a space for reading books) in the garden of its Hannam flagship store until October 31st.

Following the first domestically-held film screening event, ‘TASTE OF SUMMER’, held in the outdoor garden of the Hannam flagship store from September 6, it was announced on the 11th that a book reading room will be operated on the 2nd floor until October 31.

In order to convey new inspiration and brand philosophy, Lemaire opened the exhibition ‘a sense of place, a sense of time, a sense of tune’ at the Hannam flagship store last April. This time, it collaborated with ‘Faums Seoul’, an independent bookstore specializing in movies, to plan an outdoor movie screening and book curation.

Through events that go beyond fashion and touch on culture and art, the multifaceted nature of the Hannam flagship store is solidified and the cultural values ​​and creativity pursued by the brand are shared.

From the 6th to the 8th, Lemaire released three summer films through the ‘TASTE OF SUMMER’ screening event for three days.

The films to be screened include ‘Du côté d’Orouët’ directed by Jacques Laugier, ‘Moving’ directed by Shinji Somai, and ‘La Ciénaga’ directed by Lucrecia Martel, which are summer masterpieces carefully selected by Lemaire and Faums Seoul.

Lemaire will then operate a book reading room on the second floor of its Hannam flagship store until October 31.

It is said that you can find books of various genres such as film criticism, cinéaste (filmmaker) notes, poetry collections, photography, and literary essays in a space composed of book curation jointly selected by Lemaire and Faums Seoul.
