A light aircraft was taking off at an aerodrome in eastern Belgium. The pilot lost control of the plane due to strong winds.
However, the pilot tried unsuccessfully to land the plane and crashed into a car parked on the side of the road. The plane and the car caught fire.
Both passengers on the plane died in the accident. The occupant of the car got out of the car to smoke a cigarette and luckily survived the accident. The country’s police are investigating the accident and the identity of the passengers.
