The European Women’s Chess Championship is taking place on the island of Rhodes.
According to İdman.biz, Azerbaijani athletes will meet in the central game of the seventh round. Ulviya Fatalieva, the sole leader, will play against Govhar Beydullayeva, who has half a point less.
In total, 10 Azerbaijani chess players are taking part in the EURO. In addition to Fatalieva and Beydullayeva, these are Gunay Mamedzadeh, Khanym Baladzhaeva, Gulnar Mamedova, Govhar Buydellaeva, Ayan Allahverdieva, Lyaman Gadzhieva, Narmin Abdinova, Sabina Rzaly and Sabina Ibragimova.
