Outrage has been caused by a case in New Jersey, in the United States, after it became known that a man forced his six-year-old son to exerciseafter he claimed he was ‘fat’.

Christopher Gregor, the 31-year-old man, faces murder charges for the death of his son Corey Micciolo, because the boy died due to heart contusions after being forced to run until exhaustion.

The moment in which little Corey was forced to run until he was tired on the electric treadmill was recorded on video. presumably because he was “too fat”.

The state of New Jersey has flagged “chronic abuse” by Gregor, after an autopsy revealed severe injuries, including cardiac and hepatic contusions with acute inflammation.

These findings, reported by CourtTV, shed light on the brutality of the acts committed against Corey. During the trial in the New Jersey court, a video showing Gregor placing his son on the treadmillwhere the child runs at a speed inappropriate for his age.

The video captures the moment when Corey falls from the machine, only to be picked up again by his father, who reportedly bit off his head. Week after week, Corey showed signs of physical deterioration, until finally on April 2 he had a serious collapse.

The next day, the child died in convulsions.. Doctors have determined that the fatal injuries, including a heart laceration and abdominal bruises, were caused by the abuse he was subjected to by his father.

It is relevant to note that Christopher Gregor was not present in Corey’s life until he was four years old, and he shared custody of the child with his mother until her tragic death. This family dynamic adds a layer of complexity to this devastating case.

According to CourtTV reports, Gregor rejected a 30-year plea offer and remains held without bond at the Ocean County Jail. If convicted, he faces a possible sentence of life in prison.
