Mani hails from Jangalapuram Deccan Circle area of Tirupati district. His son Siva (age 40). He is serving in the Army in Jammu and Kashmir. His wife is Murugammal. They have a daughter Madhunisha (11) and a son Rohit (7). Murugammal used to work as a teacher in Kurumberi Panchayat Union Middle School.
Murugammal had separated from her husband 2 years ago due to a disagreement with her husband and was living alone with her son and daughter in Kandili Kejalnayakanpatti area near Tirupati. On the 29th, Murugammal’s son came to her husband’s house in Jangalapuram area with his daughter.
