FC Augsburg signs Croatian full-back Colina | free press

One day after attacker Dion Beljo (20), FC Augsburg signed another young Croatian soccer professional. The 15-time U21 national player David Colina (22) comes from HNK Hajduk Split to the Bundesliga soccer team.

“With David Colina, we were able to sign a young winger who can hold various positions. The team will benefit not only from his flexibility, but also from his dynamism and commitment,” said managing director Stefan Reuter.

According to the club, Colina’s contract runs for four and a half years until June 30, 2027. No official information was given about the fee for the full-back, whose contract in Split would have expired in the summer of 2023. Beljo (NK Osijek) had previously also signed a contract until June 30, 2027. (dpa)
