The midfielder sees himself in strong form again and wants to take on whatever role the national coach has in mind for him.
Leon Goretzka has not yet given up hope for the home European Championship. “I am highly motivated, I want to continue to impress with top performances like I did recently and I will take on any role that Julian has planned for me,” said the midfielder of the record champions Bayern Munich in the kicker interview with a view to national coach Julian Nagelsmann: “Together we can achieve a lot, I’m sure.”
The former Schalke player, who was not considered for the March internationals after poor performances, is back in strong form. He is playing “more stable than ever in my career,” said Goretzka.
