FC Nantes announced the arrival of two players on Tuesday. The “French Paul Scholes” has joined the Canaries. Florent Mollet has signed up for two and a half seasons with the FCN, i.e. until 2025. At the same time, the Loire-Atlantique club has also formalized the arrival of Jaouen Hadjam, from Paris FC.

Followed by the club for a while now, Florent Mollet has officially signed up with FC Nantes, in order to strengthen the midfield of the Canaries. At 31, the French midfielder will bring all his Ligue 1 experience. Trained in Dijon, he has worn the colors of Créteil-Lusitanos, Metz and Montpellier for the past four seasons. After a lackluster experience in Germany – only 11 games with Schalke – the French player returns to France.

Trained all his youth in the Paris region, including a year at Paris Saint-Germain (2014-2015), the left-hander born in 2003 signed up for four and a half years, i.e. until 2027, with the Canaries. He will also come – in the short term – to replace Quentin Merlin, injured for two months, or even replace him this summer in the event of his departure.
