Doha: Eagle FC defeated Falcon FC 3-1 in the final match of the Soccer League Football Tournament organized by Residents of Indians in Qatar in support of the World Cup football tournament in Qatar. Anwar Sadiq was chosen as the best player in the final, Anwar as the top scorer of the tournament, Jabir as the best goalkeeper, Bevin as the best defender and Salim as the best senior player. Eagle FC, Falcon FC, Red Vipers, Young Shooters and Phoenix FC participated in the one month long soccer league.
Shabab (Manager) Nikhilesh (Captain) Faisal (V.Captain) Salim, Iqbal, Shan Bobby, Stevo, Bevin, Jabir and Anwar donned the boots for the champions Eagle FC. Shaan, Shaneeb, Altaf, Shabab, Masood, Anwar and Jabir managed the tournament. Trophies and medals were distributed to the winners
