FC Thun won the best match and is the leader again
In the Challenge League final between FC Thun and Étoile Carouge, the Thun team won 2-1. Declan Frith scored the first goal with a handball shortly before half time. The second goal came in the second half: Substitute Miguel Castroman played a one-two with Marc Gutbub and then went into the net. FC Thun then failed to take the lead again and again, which is why things were exciting again in the end. Geneva scored another goal in the 90th minute through Vincent Nvenda. However, the visitors were unable to score more than this one goal, which is why FC Thun emerged from this top battle. That makes FC Thun the new leader of the Challenge League.
Due to the break of the national team, Thun’s next game is only in two weeks. On Friday, November 22, 2024, the Bernese Oberlanders will play away at third-placed Neuchâtel Xamax. Kick-off will be at 8:15 a.m. Radio BeO will be there live again.
