Today, August 15, Valprato Soana celebrated the feast of the Assumption with a
series of events that involved the entire community. The day began with the solemn mass, during which the girls of the village, dressed in traditional costumes, added a touch of tradition and color to the ceremony. Their clothes, rich in details and history, evoked the cultural heritage of the Soana Valley.
After the mass, the procession through the streets of the village saw the statue of the Assumption accompanied by the faithful on a path of prayer and reflection. The devotion of the community was manifested in every gesture, in a natural context that made the moment even more evocative.
The day ended with the incanto, an auction of local objects and products offered by the faithful, which united the sacred and the profane in an atmosphere of joy and participation. This event represents not only a moment of celebration, but also an opportunity to strengthen community ties, keeping alive the traditions of Valprato Soana.
